WHERE: Various locations across Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Palm Springs, and Desert Hot Springs
WHAT: Desert Open Studios (DOS) invites art lovers, collectors, and the curious to its 5th annual, free, self-directed studio tour. Established by local artists in 2021, DOS has grown into a vibrant event featuring over 150 artists in the Coachella Valley. This immersive experience allows visitors to step into artists’ studios, witness their creative processes, and purchase unique artworks directly from the creators.
Studios range from personal spaces open only for this special event to bustling studio centers, giving guests a variety of experiences that showcase the east and west art scenes of the Valley. Printed and digital maps make it easy to plan a personalized tour that matches visitors’ interests, and a complimentary 50-page paper guide is available at each studio.
2025 Community Highlight
To further support east Valley artists, DOS is proud to introduce The Indio Collective, led by renowned artist Carlos Ramirez. Hosted at The Little Street Music Hall and Encore Coffee, Indio, this space will feature Coachella-based artists who bring diverse, identity-driven perspectives to life in vibrant, mixed-media art.
