I love Desert Open Studios. It is such a wonderful event and a unique opportunity to connect with art lovers, collectors and the community at large. I really look forward to interacting with people and talking about the work and the work of other artists that they have seen on the tour. It’s really special.

I very much enjoy my experience with Desert Open Studios. I find that the folks who visit my studio are a mix of people- those who like to spend a day visiting the various artists on the tour and those who are actively seeking out specific artist that they’ve discovered through the Open Studios website and catalog. It’s exciting to engage the public to discuss my work, people are genuinely interested and I’ve built a great client base from Open Studios.

Participating in Desert Open Studios offers wonderful exposure of one’s work to visitors and local residents. Having an excellent guide to all the participating artists, art appreciators and collectors can easily narrow their weekend search, which can be quite extensive, to meet artists whose work truly interests them. I am one of those artists with a studio a little bit off the beaten path who has benefited from the samples of my work shown in the guide.

Thank you DOS for all of the many new faces brought into my studio…. New and established art collectors, fun friends and great conversationalists…always good to enjoy spending time with art enthusiasts in my unique studio space, I appreciate it.

Participating in Desert Open Studios was such a meaningful experience. I loved welcoming visitors into my studio, sharing my creative process, and connecting with people who truly appreciate handmade work. It was a beautiful reminder of how powerful and inspiring our artistic community is.

Last year I had over 300 people pass through my space during DOS. I was both humbled and energized by the many positive comments and thoughts from all the visitors. I look forward to the excitement in 2026.

I’ve participated every year since Desert Open Studios began. It is such a good way to connect with fellow local artists and share your artwork with those that support the arts.

Desert Open studio has been a delight to be a part of. Besides the exposure to clients and collectors, it has given me the opportunity to have meaningful dialogues about my work. Each year DOS gets bigger and better and I am excited to be a part of the next DOS coming up.
