Color, textiles, papers, and my signature handicraft — needlepoint — connect the rational and the intuitive. Visual grids pay homage to women’s creativity, historically expressed through needlepoint and quilting. Motifs weaving color, pattern, and texture activate the surface, creating a foundation for the painting’s “architecture.”
